Anna Malova, former Miss Russia, under arrest for drugs

Anna Malova was arrested in New York on drug charges. The woman, who was crowned Miss Russia in 1998, had stolen her doctor’s recipe pad and had written herself a prescription for some narcotic painkillers. She was arrested when she was exiting the pharmacy where she got the respective painkillers.

The pharmacy was somewhere in Greenwich Village.

Considered one of the most beautiful women in the world by some, Malova is 38 years old. She received the Miss Russia title in 1998 and managed to get into the top 10 in the Miss World contest.

An interesting fact to know is that Anna Malova is not just a pretty face. She has a license to practise medicine, but that license is only valid in Russia, her native country.

Unfortunately for the Russian beauty, her license is not valid in the United States.

She went on to prescribe herself the medication and try to pick it up at a pharmacy in New York, but was caught. The charges don’t look too good for her: she is charged with impersonating a physician, forgery, as well as criminal possession of narcotics.

Three months ago, she was arrested on similar charges.
