Bob Bradley says the cancelled USA goal was a good goal

Bob Bradley has stated that the goal that the USA scored against Slovenia and that referee Coulibaly disallowed was a good one.

And he is not the only one saying it. Most of the planet, fans of the US soccer team or not, say that a victory has been taken away from the USA team. They played better football, scored a goal more than their opponent and, according to the rules of this sport, should have won the game and should have been in a better position to qualify.

So soccer may have become very popular in the USA only in later years. Be it so, all teams should be treated the same.

Referee Koman Coulibaly has taken a goal and 2 points away from the American team, committed a huge error (whether he wanted to do so or not is another problem) and should be severely punished by FIFA according to what he did. This man should never be allowed to be a referee at a World Cup tournament if he’s not capable of it.

The game should be replayed, but FIFA never allowed anything like that. And if that’s not possible, maybe soccer referees should have to explain their decisions, like baseball umpires do. Maybe that would make light and Coulibaly could say what was in his head when he disallowed a goal that everybody saw as a valid one.
