Brazil vs. Chile 3-0: easy victory for Selecao
Brazil never looked like they worked too hard to beat Chile.
The game just looked like another formality, in which they overpowered their opponents.
Dunga’s team looks like it’s avoiding the famous joga bonito (except for the moments when it attacks), in favor of a safer, more laidback approach.
It was the same last night. They were paying a lot of attention in defensive, even defending with 8 men at a few points, whrn Chile had possession, and showed the genius of some of their players when they counterattacked.
It started with Juan’s fantastic header in the 35th minute, followed by another goal by Luis Fabiano, probably the most in-form Brazil player so far. Robinho closed the game in the 59th minute.
A good performance from Brazil, which will meet the Netherlands in one of the strongest possible World Cup 2010 clashes.
