Brazil vs. Cote d’ Ivoire: World Cup 2010 match preview

2010-FIFA-World-CupBrazil meets Cote d’ Ivoire in what should be quite an interesting World Cup 2010 game.

Brazil has won the first game against Korea DPR, but, except for a few genius moments, didn’t excel.

They didn’t play the fantastic, fast football everybody’s expecting from them and showed that Dunga has some work to do if he wants his team to be on top. Still, they do have class players like Kaka, Maicon and many others, players that can decide a game by themselves. Things did look a bit shaky in defense, though.

Cote d’ Ivoire, on the other hand, is one of the best African teams at the World Cup 2010. Players like Barcelona’s Toure and Chelsea’s Didier Drogba can always make a difference. Drogba has played in the first game against Portugal (a goalless draw) and it looks like he will be taking the field from the first minute tonight. Cote d’ Ivoire will want to get a result tonight, to try and qualify from one of the most difficult groups of the tournament.

If Sven Goran Eriksson’s boys have quality, they must show it tonight.
