Carlos Santana Universal Tone Tour 2010: European tour dates
The Carlos Santana Universal Tone Tour 2010 will embark on a month-long European leg beginning September 29 with a concert at The O2 arena in Dublin, Ireland. A show at the London O2 is slated for October 1; additional dates in the UK and across the European continent will follow. The European itinerary follows an initial summer North American leg of the Universal Tone Tour.
Universal Tone Tour 2010 highlights in Europe include shows at Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, UK (10/2); Hallenstadion in Zurich, Switzerland (10/9); Palais Omnisport Paris-Bercy in Paris, France (10/12), O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic (10/15), Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany (10/17); and the Fila Forum in Milan, Italy (10/19). Additional European dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Universal Tone Tour 2010 will feature hits from Santana‘s four-decades-long career, as well as songs from a brand new studio album that Carlos Santana is currently putting finishing touches on. Santana’s most recent release was the 2010 reissue of Supernatural as a 2-CD Legacy Edition-featuring 11 previously unissued bonus tracks-in celebration of the classic nine-time GRAMMY-winning album’s 10th anniversary.
Exclusive Best Seat ticket presales for the European leg of the Carlos Santana Universal Tone Tour 2010 began April 20 on SantanaFanClub.com. Fans can sign up for the mailing list to receive additional information about specific presale start times, which will be sent out to all subscribers as each show is announced.
This spring-prior to the launch of the Universal Tone Tour-Santana can be seen live in Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through The Hits, exclusively at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas The Joint is the only place west of the Mississippi where Santana will perform through 2010; tickets are currently on sale for dates in April and May.
