Chelsea Clinton wedding: Vera Wang wedding dress and $15k toilets!

Chelsea-ClintonChelsea Clinton is about to get married.

The daughter of the former President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, is a shy person, she has lived a very private life although the whole world has watched her grow up and become a beautiful young lady who’s soon going to be a lovely bride. And the wedding expenses, as well as the guests and the preparations have been a secret until now.

All the details are in order but the question remains: who is the famous designer that had the privilege to design Chelsea’s Clinton wedding dress?

According to Wear Daily, Chelsea was caught while she was exiting the Vera Wang store in Manhattan. This proves one thing: Chelsea most likely will be wearing a Vera Wang wedding dress. And I bet she’ll look fantastic. The 30-year-old daughter of Bill and Hillary is gorgeous and has an amazing figure.

According to various online rumors, the wedding between Chelsea Clinton and fiancé Marc Mezvinsky will take place in Rhinebeck, New York.

And now about the whole expenses regarding this wedding. Joy Behar discussed about the Clinton wedding on his show and he found it ironic that the Clinton family is spending $2 million on Chelsea’s wedding while the Bush family spent only $100,000 on Jenna’s wedding.

If indeed the two lovers will tie the knot in Rhinebeck, on the grounds of Astor Courts, then they must have paid somewhere between $100,000 to $200,000 just to rent the private, Versailles-inspired Beaux-Arts mansion on 50 acres overlooking the Hudson. The dinner and the overall party is said to be at a stone barn at nearby Grasmere, a 525-acre Revolutionary-era estate and most probably the guest list will feature about 400-500 names, including high life celebrities and politicians.

The Astor Courts mansion was designed in 1902 by the famous architect John Jacob Astor IV who died with the Titanic. The whole mansion as well as the surroundings are impressive, historical and amazing. It is indeed a great place to organize a wedding but only if you can afford it.

Renting the place is expensive, add to that $500,000 to $750,000 for food, cocktails, dinners and whole drinks. The tents alone are $200,000 and the flowers are a bit more, “just” $250,000. Add to that the music, which could rise up to $40,000, a professional wedding photographer ($25,000 to $40,000) and a professional videographer that could cost about $25,000. Ah, and the cake, the delicious wedding cake costs $11,000. And do you know how much it costs the toilets? $15,000! Those are high-class toilets indeed!

If you think this is an expensive wedding I won’t bore you with the jewelry details.
