Chivas vs Manchester United: 3-2 after a good game

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez was the big star of Chivas Guadalajara vs Manchester United. This friendly has been organised as part of Javier Hernandez‘s transfer from Chivas to Manchester United.

The Mexican super star played a half for each team. In the first part of the game he played for his old club, Chivas Guadalajara. He opened the score in the 10th minute with a superb left-footed shot past Kuszczak. Man. United`s new boy, Chris Smalling, made his signature on the game with a superb header after an United corner.

After several goal attempts Adolfo Bautista scored in the 38th minute after a free kick. Chivas vs  United 2-1 at half time.

Chivas get the second half underway. Hernandez is now, you guessed it, a Manchester United player.

Hector Reynoso made it 3-1 in the 60th minute after a short corner. Cleverley exchanges passes with Welbeck before being tackled,  but the ball falls kindly to Nani who scoers! 3-2 in the 78th minute!

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, who has been given a hero’s reception on his return to Mexico, was the centre of attention of the friendly and was given a standing ovation when his name was read out.

Final score Chivas vs Manchester United 3-2, United suffered the second defeat of their pre-season tour.

Manchester United open their Premier League campaign against Newcastle United on August 15.
