Did Whoopi Goldberg hit Michaele Salahi on The View?
As if Whoopi Goldberg’s support for Mel Gibson wasn’t enough bad press for her image, the actress has done it again. Or at least that’s what it seemed. There are reports that Whoopi Goldberg has hit Michaele Salahi, the Real Housewives of DC, the same who, according to ABC, made it in the news for showing up uninvited to an event at the White House, last year.
According to ABC’s statement, Salahis claims she was hit by Goldberg during one of her appearances on The View where she was invited to promote The Real Housewives of DC.
Why would Goldberg do such thing, you may ask yourself? It seems that Ms. Salahi didn’t pay attention to Goldberg who “lightly touched” Michelle to get her attention, saying “Excuse me, can you get back to the White House, please”, and subtly asking Ms. Salahi to get back on track of the conversation.
After the show, Ms. Salahi accused Goldberg of hitting Michelle although the tape of the show proved the opposite. The rumors dissipated after Ms. Salahi claimed that she never accused Goldberg of such thing. And how the story ends, perhaps we’ll find out in the next few days.
