FIFA World Cup 2010: Italy squad named by Lippi
Coach Marcello Lippi named the Italian provisional squad for 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Francesco Totti will have no chance to participate in South African World Cup because he was leaved aout from the squad by Lippi.
Another two super players will miss the 2010 World Cup: Juventus “old boy” Alessandro Del Piero and Roma forward Luca Toni. Marcello Lippi`s provisional list will be reduced to 23 players by 1 June.

I think the squad looks nice. Totti is too old now and has had a lot of injuries. He’s just not the same player he was in 2006. Plus after that Balotelli incident I was highly doubting he was gonna go to the 2010 World Cup. Don’t get me wrong though, Totti is a hell of a player.
And Lippi a stupid man? He won the World Cup in 2006.. That sure doesn’t make him stupid lol.
