Forum on the Immigration Debate to take place at Georgetown University
The forum will feature a series of panels made up of policy makers, activists and academics to discuss different approaches to immigration issues. Remarks will also be delivered by Ricardo Salinas Pliego, chairman of Grupo Salinas.
Panelists include: Julissa Reynoso, deputy assistant secretary of state for Central American and Caribbean affairs; His Excellency Arturo Sarukhan, ambassador of Mexico to the United States; and His Excellency Francisco Altshul, ambassador of El Salvador to the United States.
Georgetown University will host a series of panels bringing together leading experts, academics and policymakers to discuss the hotly debated issue of immigration in the United States. The forum titled, “State of Latinos: The Consolidation of the Immigration Debate and its Impact on the Hemisphere” will feature a series of panel discussions and remarks by Ricardo Salinas Pliego, chairman of Grupo Salinas.
