France vs. South Africa: World Cup 2010 match preview
France meets South Africa in a game that could be completely pointless in one situation.
And the situation is the one in which Uruguay and Mexico end their game in a draw.
In that case, all the hopes the French are clinging to will be gone down the drain. Both Uruguay and Mexico would then have 5 points and it would mean that France, no matter how bad they beat South Africa (or, by the way they played at this World Cup, IF they beat South Africa), goes home. And Raymond Domenech goes out of his job.
France was quite disappointing at this World Cup, but then, so was South Africa, the host country of the tournament. They both can wash off some of the bad impression today, and maybe France can qualify with a little luck.
