Germany vs. Spain: World Cup 2010 match preview

Spain and Germany meet in an amazing semifinal, a game that could just as well have been the final.

These are two excellent teams, and the Germans will want to avenge the European title they lost in the final against Spain.

That was 2 years ago, though, and Spain, a very good team then (as it is now, too) was very much in form at the moment, winning against any possible opponent.

Even if they do have class players, like David Villa or Iniesta, that can decide any game, they didn’t look fantastic at the World Cup tonight. They have the chance to shine tonight.

Germany is playing probably the best football at the World Cup so far. They have completely destroyed England and Argentina and seem to have mastered the art of counterattacking. But will that work against a team with such technique as Spain?
