Germany vs. Uruguay: World Cup 2010 match preview

Germany vs. Uruguay is the little final, or the game that decides the 3rd place winner.

Germany seems like the favorite for this one, especially since many people count on their will to avenge the defeat against Spain that kept them put of the final tomorrow.

Uruguay had good performances at the World Cup, but Germany was quite impressive. They played very good football and, even if they lost to Serbia, too, you could say that they only had a worthy opponent in Spain.

More than this, they will want to win today, to preserve their honor. Even more, they will want to get over the upset of not playing the final. We must also note that Paul the octopus said they would win.

Uruguay is also a good team, but, only by reaching this stage of the competition, they have made a fabulous surprise.

It should be a very interesting game, anyway.
