Glenn Beck rally attendance: Contradicting figures
The Glenn Beck Rally attendance has become something of a dispute between various parties.
The attendance figures that various parties give are so different it’s amazing.
It is always tough to figure out the number of people at an event, and it is usually done by estimations, using high resolution imagery. Still, accurate data, if the event has no tickets, is almost impossible to give.
So the Glenn Beck Rally did have a large attendance. The organizers, when asking for a permit, estimated 300,000 people coming. Now Beck says that the attendance could have been between 300000 (low end) and 650000 (high one).
Some firms that were hired to estimate the attendance said that the attendance could have been between 78000 and 96000. The average of what analysts said was around 87000.
What’s the truth? Impossible to say.
Why is it okay for Glenn Beck to question the faith of Pres. Obama by saying Obama has a perversion of Christianity when Beck is not a genuine Christian but his a confessed Mormon! Has anyone taken the time to compare the two religions, they are not even close! How is it okay for Christians to support Beck who is confusing potential Christians and leading others astray!
Mormons do not believe Jesus physical death on the cross paid for salvation for all who call upon him in faith. Shame on them for attacking Obama’s religious views. News Flash for you all: President Obama was not elected to be your Pastor, he was however, elected by people of all races and faiths or even no faith at all! Lying Hypocrites should shut the hell up!
Mormon Doctrine.
God has a physical body and so does his wife.
No Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three separate gods. People can become gods.
Jesus was created by sexual union between God and Mary.
Jesus was married.
Jesus’ death does not atone for all sin.
Baptism for the dead.
Dark skinned people were not granted Mormon privileges until 1978.
Jesus and Satan were spirit brothers.
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light

Go by airphotos estimate of 87,000 and then look at metro increased rider number, which was about 200K compared to most days and previous Saturday numbers, divide the 200k in half for inbound and outbound and you get about 100k which is within the margin of error for airphotos. I do not think a company would destroy thier reputation, considering the number of conservative clients they have and purposely lie about the numbers. I think it probably was 100k considering there were two major sporting events and a couple other rallys that day.
Peg – using your calculations you are ignoring buses – cars – bikes – people who walked there.
also CBS and Dan Rather destroyed their reputation on Bush Bashing… why would they change their colors?
last – why not use a mean to calculate it using as many sources as possible… that would put it closer to 200K
