Mexico vs Netherlands: Netherlands beat Mexico 2-1

Robin-van-PersieNetherlands extended their unbeaten run to 17 matches with a 2-1 victory against Mexico in a game played in Germany. It is a second defeat in three days for Mexico, but Javier Aguirre’s men can take heart from a spirited second-half performance.

The Arsenal forward, Robin van Persie scored twice and The Netherlands continued their good form ahead of the 2010 World Cup South Africa.

Javier Hernandez, the Manchester United player, scored a header inside the Dutch area, reducing the deficit.

Van Marwijk’s men looked to restore their two-goal lead, but they found a good and organized Mexican defence.

The Fifa World Cup is a few days away, the teams are prepared for the big clashes. Mexico are in Group A along with hosts South Africa, France and Uruguay. As for the Dutch, they will face Denmark, Cameroon and Japan in Group E.

    mexico played well. just need to get better at scoring. they will play strong at SA. i wanna see bofo played like how he did with chivas before chiapas
