New Amazon Kindle: ebook with WiFi for only $139
Kindle from Amazon has become a very popular eBook reader among Internet users. Due to the competition from Barnes&Noble and Borders, Amazon has released a cheaper version. The New Kindle Wi-Fi costs only $139 and among Wi-Fi has other upgraded improvements.
The New Kindle Wi-Fi eBook reader doesn’t have 3G wireless service, only Wi-Fi capability. Is 21 percent smaller than the latest Kindle, has a 6 inch screen reading area and is even lighter than the previous version.
For the Kindle Wi-Fi with new E-Ink screen with color graphite option (which could have a 50% better contrast) and 3G wireless service along with the Wi-Fi you could pay $189, if you really want an eBook reader with both 3G and Wireless WAN. It is faster when you turn the page, the battery could last up to one month. Also, this new version has more storage room, can store up to 3,500 books.
This is a fantastic thing for eBook readers since they can get their hands on cheaper readers, such as the new Kindle Wi-Fi! If you want the 9.7 inch display (in diagonal), the Kindle DX, you must search your pockets for $379. Let’s not forget that a few years ago the price for an e-reader was somewhere between $350 and $400!
