New iPod Touch: The Goodies Are Finally Here

Apple event september 1 2010The new iPod Touch was the star of Apple’s September 1st event, a device that will probably be one of the holyday season’s hottest if we consider that it now has everything the fans wanted – a Retina Display and a camera and much more.

Yes, Apple decided to add the superb Retina display that we first met when they unveiled the iPhone 4, which has 24 bit color.

Face Time is no longer iPhone exclusive as the new iPod touch now has a a front facing camera as well as a rear camera that also allows HD recording.

Under the hood the users will get a powerful Apple A4 chip and a new gyroscope that will provide smoother motion based gestures.

Steve Jobs announced a three new iPod Touch models, a 8GB one that will cost $329, a 32GB one that will cost $299, and a 64GB, available for $399.
