Paranormal Activity 2: The Trailer Is Here (watch video)

The trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 hit the internet today, in the form of a movie teaser.

Directed by Tod Williams, who replaces Oren Peli, the director of the first movie, Paranormal Activity 2 follows the story of the mysterious happenings that ruined the lives of the young couple from last year’s horror hit. However, Peli, the man who was able to turn a movie with a budget of $15,000 in a box-office hit that made $200 million worldwide is still involved in the project, as a screenwriter.

There’s still a sense of real footage to the movie, but this time we will not experience the events from a hand held camera perspective, but from a number of security cameras.

From what we can experience in the short trailer, there’s still going to be plenty of memorable and traumatizing moments, and animal lovers will probably have a new discussion subject, as a dog can also be seen in a scene.

Paranormal Activity 2 will premiere in October 2010.
