Paris Hilton: Cocaine was not hers, she claims

Paris Hilton denied owning the cocaine that fell out of her purse on Friday in Las Vegas.

The heiress claims the purse was not hers and that it had been borrowed from a friend.

She reached for a lip balm in the purse and a bag containing a little less than a gram of cocaine fell out. She was arrested on the spot.

According to various reports, Hilton has told friends that she was not worried about the situation.

Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were stopped by a police officer that felt a marijuana odour coming from Waits’ Cadillac Escalade. Hilton asked the officer to go into the Wynn for privacy, as a crowd was forming around them. While reaching for makeup, she dropped the cocaine bag.

Paris was arrested for felony drug possession and released after less than an hour. Waits was released later in the afternoon after he posted a $ 2000 bail.
