Rapper T.I Arrested for Possesion

T.I and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested in Hollywood on Wednesday night on the suspicion of possessing methamphetamines. This is the second arrest for T.I in the last six months, last time he spent seven months in jail on weapon charges. Seems like the rapper couple won’t show up in time on the red carpet for the Virgin Mobile Free-fest.

The rapper and actor and his wife were pulled over on Sunset Blvd. The L.A. County sheriff’s officials have stated that the deputies smelled some strong marijuana smell coming from the Georgian rapper’s car and they decided to search it. T.I and wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were booked on drug possession charges although the sheriff didn’t released the name of the drug.

The couple are set to be in cort on Sept. 3 and the bail was $10,000 each. Perhaps the drugs were a way of relaxing for T.I who is known to be working on his new album entitled King Uncaged.
