Sean Duffy: An MTV Star’s Road to Congressional Victory

Sean Duffy, the star of MTV’s The Real World reality series, who was between others a lumberjack and an athlete has now decided to pursue a bid for a Congressional Seat in Wisconsin.

Duffy was also an actor in an independent movie about gay marriage.

People will probably start asking why the Republicans chose him to represent them, but if we analize the situation better, we will realize that his short moment of fame might just be enough to give him an edge over his opponent, Democratic nominee, Wisconsin State Sen. Julie Lassa.

His plan was set in motion after David Obey, the former representative of Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District decided to retire after an amazing 41 years.

Sean Duffy, 38, was able to raise more than $600,000 so far for his campaign.
