He could be out partying and getting into trouble on the 4th of July but instead he is going to spend the weekend doing something meaningful for someone else. Stories like this rarely make headlines. Young spent his pro bowl week this past year hanging out with Steve McNair's kids. He also went back to college a couple years ago to finish his degree. He also pays for his receivers to go on vacation. These types of things should be reported more often rather than whatever news can make somone else look bad.
