The Avengers Stormed the Comic-Con 2010

Fans of Comic Con 2010 were treated with a rare surprise, as the cast of the upcoming Avengers movie gathered on the stage in front of the spectators.

When Marvel chief Kevin Feige summoned the Avengers, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) appeared on the stage.

It was a unique moment for Marvel and comics fans alike to see all these actors who are part of a project that not so long ago seemed impossible.

The Avengers, a movie that will mix the stories of some of the main comic book heroes of all times will be released in May 2012.

Until then, superhero fans will be kept busy by Thor, with Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Seth Rogen’s The Green Lantern.
