The Blaze – Glenn Beck’s new media title

What do you call a place where you can find breaking news, engaging videos, insightful opinions and original reporting about the stories that matter most? Well, Fox News channel host Glenn Beck calls it “The Blaze“, a new web site he has launched on Monday.

The purpose of the new website is to bring forward the important stories that are overlooked because of the ever-growing number of distortions that news suffer from the mainstream media outlets. The Blaze will present not only current news, but will offer something more to its visitors – it will offer insight, examination of the current culture, tell people about history and faith and family.

The team behind The Blaze is formed by a group of dedicated journalists, writers and video producers. The team and the site was put together in just two months. The online journal’s managing director is Scott Baker, a veteran broadcast journalist who has a quarter-century experience covering all kinds of stories.
