Tropical storm Fiona: Following in the hurricane Earl path
Tropical storm Fiona is coming just after hurricane Earl, basically following its path.
Just as people in hurricane Earl’s way are starting to clean up the mess, it would seem that they will have even more work to do.
Tropical storm Fiona will probably be visiting almost the same areas as early as tomorrow. Tropical storm Fiona has started somewhere around 900 miles east of the Leeward Islands and is advancing.
As the hurricane watch due to hurricane Earl has been removed, a tropical storm watch is now in place for the following countries:
Antigua and Barbuda
St Kitts and Nevis
Anguilla and St Maarten
Montserrat
Saba
St Eustatius
Fiona has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and is moving west-northwest at a speed of around 24 miles an hour. This morning, it was about 500 miles far from the Leeward islands.
