USA vs. Algeria: USA close to qualifying

USA vs. Algeria is a game after which USA has good chances to qualify from what became one of the most interesting groups of World Cup 2010.

But only on one condition: that they win today against Algeria.

Bob Bradley’s boys are sure to go through if they get the 3 points against Algeria, a team that hasn’t yet managed to score at this edition of the World Cup.

The US soccer team looks good on this front, though, having scored once against England and twice against Slovenia, in the 2-2 draw. Plus, they’ve scored a third goal against Slovenia, but referee Coulibaly decided to disallow it.

Algeria can also still qualify, but they also need a win for this. A draw could not be enough for the Americans, as they would depend on the result England gets against Slovenia.

Still, USA looks like it can win today, as it seemed to play the best football in the group.
