USA vs. Algeria: World Cup 2010 match preview

USA meets Algeria in a World Cup 2010 game they will want to win.

It will not be easy, since the Algerians still have chances to qualify, too.

They depend on the other game on the group and they need the win, but it is still not impossible. It’s much easier for the United States to progress in the competition, though. Bradley’s boys just have to win and their progress in the competition will be a certain fact.

Landon Donovan and Altidore will have to work hard and try to put the ball past Rais M’Bolhi, a goalkeeper that had a very good game against England.

They won’t have to be too worried about Algeria’s offense, though. They haven’t scored a goal yet in the competition, and have only managed to get three shots on target so far. The point against England and a pretty solid defensive line are their only achievements so far.

Still, as we have already learned, no team can be ignored or be considered too small in this competition.
