Lady-GagaThe famous magazine Vanity Fair has released a Best Dressed List for 2010 ranking this year’s style elite. And among the best-dressed celebrities and famous people we find Carla Bruni, First Lady Michelle Obama and …. surprise: Lady Gaga! The First Lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy made it on the list for the third year in a row.

Even though the list features very elegant and chic celebrities, this year all eyes were on the “originals” category which includes Lady Gaga, John Galliano and Helena Bonham Carter. According to the magazine, Lady Gaga is the “Dada Catholic girl”, the fashion setter, the person everyone wants to be like and Helena Bonham Carter, the lady dressed in “bloomers” is inspired by the famous historical figures Vivienne Westwood and Marie Antoinette.

First Lady Michelle Obama is at her forth appearance in a row in the Vanity Fair Best-Dressed List due to her unique elegant style. Mrs. Obama is famous for her cardigans, her high hair and kitten-heel pumps, her belts and gorgeous dresses that suit her so well (she does have an amazing figure at her age, a figure I bet many ladies would want to have!). Vanity Fair has prepared a special edition with the best-dressed people and get ready to see some beautiful people. Along with the First Lady there’s Samantha Cameron, a very beautiful lady who’s simply very elegant and glowing thanks to her pregnancy.

In the Fashion category, the Best-Dressed people are Tory Burch, Elber Albaz of Lanvin, Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, Stacey Bendet Eisner of Alice & Olivia, David, Dylan and Andrew Lauren, while the Royalty category has earned a special place for Princess Mary of Denmark and Princess Mafalda of Hesse of Germany.

In the man chapter, of course David Beckham has earned a spot in the hall of fame. He’s the most famous elegant and stylish man on Earth (at least among celebrities and fellow soccer players). Along side soccer player David, there’s gorgeous newly-wed Javier Bardem.

The Vanity Fair Best-Dressed List didn’t count Angelina Jolie as a best-dressed woman. Why would she, really? Before releasing and promoting “Salt”, Angie kept a pretty much low profile. And her style includes too many black dresses and straight hair or pinned up above the neck. She’s boring for the designers, she’s not a model anymore.
