Veena Malik says Mohammad Assif told her Pakistan wouldn’t win

Veena Malik, the former girlfriend of Mohammad Assif, has been quoted saying that the cricketer told her his team wouldn’t win.

This happened during his team’s tour of Australia, last year.

Her statement comes in support of the rumors that players were paid to rig a number of games.

She also claims that Assif went to Bangkok to see some bookmakers before his team went to Australia and also that he used other people’s mobile phones in order to talk to people he knew in sports betting.

News of the World has revealed facts about games being arranged by the Pakistani cricket team this Sunday. The paper had undercover journalists that paid middlemen 150,000 pounds to fix a game. They were given exact facts about when three balls would be bowled in two consecutive days. It happened exactly as they were told. The middleman was arrested.

Veena Malik also says that when the team started losing, she told Assif as a joke to win a game. He answered that they wouldn’t win until 2010.

She also claims that he told her he was offered $ 40,000, but he asked for $ 200,000, even if she suggested that he shouldn’t get involved in such things.

She also added that he borrowed money from her, never giving it back.
